Sunshine Metals Starts Study at North Queensland Project; Shares Rise 9%

Sunshine Metals (ASX:SHN) has started an advanced scoping study at its Ravenswood consolidated project in North Queensland, to consider the extraction of gold and silver, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Metallurgical testing is underway, and mine design and approvals will begin shortly, the filing said.

The study is expected to be completed in January 2026, the filing added.

Shares of the company rose 9% in recent Wednesday trade.
