Reliance Power (NSE:RPOWER,BOM:532939) posted attributable consolidated net profit of 446.8 million Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter, swinging from a net loss of 978.5 million rupees a year earlier, according to a Saturday filing with the Indian exchanges.
Earnings per share during the quarter ended June 30 stood at 0.106 rupees, compared with a loss per share of 0.244 rupees.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 dropped to 18.9 billion rupees from 19.9 billion rupees a year earlier.
Shares of the company fell 1.2% in recent Monday trading.
