FedEx Corporation has announced advancements in its environmental, social, and governance $(ESG)$ initiatives, with a focus on sustainability. The company has introduced FedEx® Sustainability Insights, a cloud-based tool that offers customers historical carbon emissions data for shipments within the FedEx network. This tool aims to support customers in managing their carbon impact. Additionally, FedEx is progressing towards its goal of achieving carbon neutral operations globally by 2040. Efforts include vehicle electrification, fleet modernization, and the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). FedEx has also reported a 6.1% year-over-year reduction in direct emissions from fiscal year 2023 to 2024 and has entered an agreement to purchase over three million gallons of blended SAF at Los Angeles International Airport. Furthermore, the company has expanded its electric vehicle fleet in the Seoul Capital Region as part of its plan to achieve an all-electric, zero-tailpipe emission pickup and delivery fleet by 2040.
