SAP Sees Customers Pushout Bookings Amid Tariff Uncertainty -- Market Talk

1846 ET - SAP has seen customers pushout bookings as tariff policies remain uncertain, leading to a sequential deceleration of one percentage point in backlog growth for its key cloud segment in the latest quarter, CFO Dominik Asam says during a call with analysts. Going forward, it will be tough to expect when such effects may subside, he says. "It is obviously hard, if not impossible, to predict when exactly we'll catch up on the push outs," he says. The uncertainty has led to particularly longer sales cycles in certain markets like the U.S. public sector and industrial manufacturing, he says. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
