MVV Energie AG has expanded its renewable energy portfolio by commissioning a new wind park in Olsberg-Antfeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. This development, consisting of four General Electric wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 megawatts, will provide eco-friendly electricity to approximately 23,000 households. This wind park is the fifteenth in MVV's portfolio and the second in the Hochsauerlandkreis region, underscoring MVV's commitment to advancing the energy transition. The project was developed by MVV's subsidiary, JUWI GmbH, highlighting the company's expertise in renewable energy projects. MVV aims to become climate-positive by 2035 as part of its strategy to systematically transition from fossil fuels to green energy.
