--Prudential PLC has launched the search for a successor to Chair Shriti Vadera and has enlisted recruiters Spencer Stuart for the task, the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.
--Vadera can serve in the role until 2030 and isn't expected to leave the Asia-focused insurer imminently, the FT reports. She was among those approached for the role of chair at HSBC but ruled herself out of the process.
--Prudential, Vadera and Spencer Stuart declined to comment to the FT while HSBC didn't respond to their request for comment.
