Southern Company has announced key leadership changes within its Accounting, Finance, and Treasury organization. Effective July 31, Matt Kim will assume the role of senior vice president, comptroller, and chief accounting officer. Aaron Abramovitz will become the senior vice president of finance and treasurer for Southern Company. Kim will oversee accounting policy, external financial reporting, payroll, and accounts payable. Abramovitz will lead the treasury and financial planning teams, manage the financial plan, budget, and reporting, and oversee Investor Relations.
