Southern Cross Gold (ASX:SX2) extended gold-antimony mineralization at the Christina prospect, within its Sunday Creek project in Victoria, to a depth of 600 meters, with the release of results from seven diamond drill holes, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results include 2.9 meters at 16 grams per tonne grade of gold and 2.5 meters at 17.6 g/t grade of gold, the filing said.
The drilling program is progressing with 33 holes being processed and analyzed, and eight additional holes being drilled, according to the filing.
Shares were down 5% in morning trade Thursday.
