Greif (GEF) reported late Wednesday its Virtual Power Purchase Agreement through Enel X Global Retail and with Enel Green Power Espana, started on July 1 following the activation of the solar farms in Castilla y Leon, Spain.

The company said it will purchase about 100 GWh per year of renewable energy, helping it offset some 65% of its Scope 2 emissions in Europe and 3% of its combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions globally under a 12-year agreement.
