Recurrent Energy, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., has secured $260 million in financing for the Blue Moon Solar Project in Harrison County, Kentucky. The 94 MW solar facility holds a power purchase agreement with Constellation and is set to significantly contribute to the local economy by creating hundreds of construction jobs and generating tax revenue. U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance is providing the financial support for this project, which marks Recurrent Energy's first venture in Kentucky. The Blue Moon Solar Project is expected to commence operations in 2026, with Recurrent Energy owning and operating the facility.
