CHN Energy Changyuan Electric Power (SHE:000966) subsidiary Hanchuan Co. will sign a franchise contract with affiliate Longyuan Environmental Protection's Hanchuan branch.
The contract is for the flue gas desulfurization and denitrification services for its phase four 2×1,000-megawatt coal power expansion, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Under the deal, CHN Energy Changyuan Electric Power will pay about 182.1 million yuan annually, while receiving back 58.3 million yuan for utility costs, bringing the total related-party transaction to 240.5 million yuan per year.
