Spire Global Inc. has been awarded a $1.2 million contract renewal from NASA to extend its participation in the Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition (CSDA) Program. This two-month task order extension builds on a previous $6.7 million, 12-month task order awarded in August 2024. As a key provider of space-based data, Spire will continue to supply NASA with comprehensive Earth observation data, including GNSS radio occultation, GNSS Reflectometry, and space weather measurements. Spire has been a part of the CSDA Program since 2018, contributing to U.S. government-funded research aimed at enhancing global weather forecasting, atmospheric profiling, and climate research.
