i-80 Gold Corp. has announced an update on its new development plan aimed at advancing its Nevada gold projects towards becoming a mid-tier gold producer. The company released Preliminary Economic Assessments (PEAs) for five projects in the first quarter of 2025 and is actively working on permitting, technical, and development aspects. Drilling is in progress across several key properties in preparation for feasibility studies, alongside optimization efforts for the Lone Tree refurbishment study. The Granite Creek Underground, the company's first gold operation, is advancing its ramp-up activities towards steady state production with the help of a predictive hydrogeological model that improves dewatering processes. This includes the installation of permanent underground dewatering infrastructure and an expanded water treatment plant. The company's Chief Operating Officer, Paul Chawrun, highlighted the steady progress and momentum in permitting efforts, which aim to de-risk the development pipeline.
