Agilent Technologies shares dropped after the company said Chief Financial Officer Bob McMahon will step down, effective July 31.

Shares were down 6.3% at $112.56. The stock has been down 15.8% this year.

McMahon will step down from the analytical and clinical laboratory technologies company as he relocates to the East Coast for family reasons and prepares for the next chapter in his career, the company said Tuesday. McMahon has worked at Agilent for seven years.

Rodney Gonsalves, Agilent's corporate controller and principal accounting officer, will serve as interim CFO until a successor is named.
