Stocks to Watch Wednesday: ASML, Morgan Stanley, Renault -- WSJ

Johnson & Johnson $(JNJ)$: J&J is among the blue-chip companies due to report quarterly earnings early Wednesday.

Bank of America $(BAC.SI)$, Goldman Sachs (GS), Morgan Stanley $(MS)$: More major bank earnings are also expected before the market opens.

ASML $(ASML)$: The global chip-equipment supplier said it couldn't guarantee growth in 2026 due to increasing uncertainty from President Trump's tariffs. Shares dropped around 7.5% in the Netherlands.

Renault (FR:RNO): The French carmaker slashed annual financial guidance, as it contends with stiff competition and Trump's 25% duties on finished, foreign-made vehicles. Shares dropped roughly 15%.

J.B. Hunt $(JBHT)$: Quarterly earnings from the trucking and logistics company fell less than expected, even though medical expenses, insurance costs and drivers' wages rose. Shares slipped premarket.

Brighthouse Financial $(BHF)$: Investment firm Aquarian is in exclusive talks to acquire the life insurer, which has a market value of about $2.8 billion, The Wall Street Journal reported.
