Rio Tinto (RIO) said Wednesday it incurred $300 million of gross costs associated with US tariffs on its primary aluminium exports from Canada in H1.
A significant portion of the cost was compensated by the related increase in the US Midwest duty paid premium, the company said.
Rio Tinto reaffirmed its 2025 guidance across all key commodities.
