Wildcat Resources Advances Western Australia Lithium Project; Shares Up 3%

Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) said its Tabba Tabba lithium project's preliminary feasibility study (PFS) is nearing completion, and its definitive feasibility study (DFS) testwork is progressing on multiple fronts, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The company said it has collected more than 3 tonnes of drill core for metallurgical testing, and geotechnical drilling has confirmed competent ground conditions in the project. It also completed key environmental surveys, according to the filing.

The company reported cash in bank of AU$55.1 million as of June 30.

The company said it is continuing first-pass regional exploration drilling at Tabba Tabba and regional projects, including a drill program at the Mt Adrah Gold Project in New South Wales.

The company's Pilbara land package now covers more than 2,380 square kilometers, the filing added.

Wildcat Resources' shares were up almost 3% in recent Wednesday trade.
