0649 GMT - ASML Holding's sales guidance for the year is in line with consensus, Citi analysts write in a research note. The Dutch supplier of chip-making equipment narrowed its forecasts with just two quarters to go. ASML now expects sales to grow around 15% to roughly 32.50 billion euros this year compared with a previous guidance range of 30 billion to 35 billion euros. Its gross margin should come in at about 52% compared with prior guidance of 51% to 53%. The analysts note that ASML management effectively reiterated the midpoints of guidance from the previous ranges. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
