Churchill Downs (CHDN) said Monday that it agreed to acquire the majority of the outstanding equity interests of Casino Salem, a joint venture in Salem, New Hampshire.
The agreement includes the right to develop a charitable gaming, entertainment, and dining destination, according to the company.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Churchill Downs said it will finance the transaction using its existing credit facility and expects to complete the transaction in Q3.
