Rimini Street Inc. and Oracle Corporation have reached a settlement in their ongoing litigation, with Rimini agreeing to wind down its support services for Oracle's PeopleSoft products. The legal battle, which began with Oracle's lawsuit against Rimini in 2010, included two major cases, Rimini I and Rimini II. The Rimini I case resulted in a permanent injunction in 2018, restricting how Rimini could provide support for certain Oracle products. In Rimini II, after a trial and an appeal, the case was remanded to address Oracle's claims about Rimini's support services. The recent settlement includes a Litigation Standstill, preventing both parties from starting new legal actions related to the cases. A permanent injunction, Rimini III, was issued in April 2025, requiring Rimini to comply with specific legal standards. The settlement marks a significant step towards resolving the long-standing disputes between the two companies.
