Surefire Resources (ASX:SRN) said it has completed 27 drill holes for about 3,651 meters and submitted 564 samples for assay from its Yidby gold project in Western Australia, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The company said its drilling focus has been on the Yidby prospect, with additional wide new zones of sulphide mineralisation noted in quartz porphyry, with Marshall and Fender prospects completed.
The drill rig is now finishing at the main Yidby prospect and is due to move onto the Money Anomaly, the filing added.
The company added that Capricorn Metals (ASX:CMM) is increasing tenure in the region.
