Guotai Junan International (HKG:1788) said it expects its H1 profit to rise by up to 202% from a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Thursday.
Shares of the wealth management firm jumped nearly 2% in afternoon trade Thursday.
The company expects to report between HK$515 million and HK$595 million in profit for the six months ended June 30, up 161% to 202% from the HK$197 million reported in the year-ago period.
