Venture Global Inc. has announced an expansion of its LNG partnership with Securing Energy for Europe GmbH (SEFE). Under the newly finalized agreement, SEFE's subsidiary, SEFE Energy GmbH, will purchase an additional 0.75 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas $(LNG)$ from Venture Global's CP2 LNG project over a period of 20 years. This amendment to the existing Sales and Purchase Agreement, signed earlier in 2023, increases SEFE's total LNG purchase from CP2 LNG to 3.0 MTPA. Venture Global is on track to become Germany's largest LNG supplier, with a combined 5 MTPA of long-term offtake agreements with SEFE and EnBW. The company has already supplied nearly 80 cargoes of LNG to Germany, significantly contributing to the country's energy needs.
