Apple's (AAPL) Chinese supplier, Lens Technology, raised $4.8 billion Hong Kong dollars ($611.5 million) from its Hong Kong listing, Bloomberg News reported early Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The company, which makes glass covers for cell phones and other components for consumer electronics, issued 262.3 million shares at HK$18.18 apiece, the top end of its marketed range, according to the sources.
Lens Technology aims to use the proceeds from the sale to expand its product and service portfolio, widen its foreign presence and boost production capacity, according to the report.
