Radius Recycling Inc. has announced the successful completion of a key regulatory approval process for its upcoming merger. As of July 3, 2025, the company, in collaboration with Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., received written notice from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) confirming the approval of their merger plan. This approval marks the final regulatory hurdle for the merger, with all required permissions now secured. The merger, which involves Radius Recycling becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho America through its subsidiary TAI Merger Corporation, is expected to finalize on July 10, 2025, pending the fulfillment of any remaining customary conditions.
