i-80 Gold Corp. has announced progress on its new development plan aimed at advancing its Nevada gold projects, aspiring to become a mid-tier gold producer. The plan involves completing Preliminary Economic Assessments for five projects and advancing permitting and technical work. The Granite Creek Underground mine is progressing towards steady-state production with improved dewatering infrastructure. At the Cove Underground project, infill drilling is complete, and the feasibility study is set for completion by early 2026. The company is also working on National Environmental Policy Act permitting to align regulatory approvals with development timelines, with Cove expected to contribute to production by mid-2029.
