Ingram Micro (INGM) said Saturday it found ransomware on parts of its internal systems and responded by taking some of them offline.
The company has launched an investigation with cybersecurity experts and informed law enforcement. It is working to restore the affected systems to resume order processing and shipments.
"[T]he Company apologizes for any disruption this issue is causing its customers, vendor partners and others," the company said.
Shares of the company were down more than 2% in recent Monday premarket activity.
