0536 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening slightly higher, with IG calling the OMXS30 up 0.3% at around 2520. After last week's record highs on U.S. stock markets, futures markets point to a weaker opening in the U.S. today, SEB analysts say in a note. "Given the current record levels, as well as the market's positive expectations for the tariff negotiations, one should perhaps expect some downside risk during the week." According to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, tariffs will come into force on Aug. 1 for countries without an agreement, but at the same time clarifies that this should not be seen as a new deadline, SEB adds. Oil prices have fallen back to $66 per barrel after news of increased production this weekend. OMXS30 closed at 2512.53, OMXN40 at 2338.34 and OBX at 1543.60. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
