Inventus Mining Corp. has announced promising results from its grade-control drilling at the Pardo Gold Project, located 65 km northeast of Sudbury, Ontario. The drilling at the Trench 1 Bulk Sample Site revealed approximately 10,000 tonnes of material within 6 meters of the surface, with a weighted average grade of 4.10 gpt gold and a thickness of 1.78 meters. The top drill intercepts included grades as high as 12.59 gpt gold over 1.79 meters. The bulk sampling program is progressing on schedule, with the first 5,000-tonne sample from 007 North expected to be processed in late July, followed by the 10,000-tonne sample from Trench 1 in late August to early September. Inventus Mining Corp. is optimistic about the project's potential, having secured a processing path through McEwen Mining's Stock Mill, and sees this as a significant step towards de-risking the project and demonstrating the strong economics of extracting near-surface gold mineralization.
