SunRun $(RUN)$, Enphase Energy (ENPH), First Solar (FSLR): Solar stocks fell in premarket trading Tuesday after the White House said it would enforce the termination of clean-electricity tax credits faster than expected.
Amazon $(AMZN.UK)$: The company's Prime Day event starts Tuesday. The sale is expected to bring in a record $12.9 billion in the U.S., up 53% from last year, according to Emarketer. This year, the event will last four days instead of two.
Meta Platforms $(META)$: Mark Zuckerberg added another big name to Meta's new "Superintelligence" division, hiring a top artificial-intelligence researcher from Apple $(AAPL)$.
Samsung Electronics (KR:005930): The South Korean company expects quarterly operating profit to fall by more than half from a year earlier, hurt by U.S. trade curbs on China and delayed sales of AI chips to Nvidia (NVDA).
