CME Group's Q2 Average Daily Volume Rises 15%

CME Group (CME) said Wednesday that its Q2 average daily volume, or ADV, was 30.2 million contracts, a 15% increase from a year earlier.

The company reported interest rate ADV of 15.5 million contracts for the quarter, equity index ADV of 7.7 million contracts, and energy ADV of 3.1 million contracts.

Agricultural ADV during the quarter came in at 2 million contracts, metals ADV at 943,000 contracts, foreign exchange ADV at 1.1 million contracts, and cryptocurrency ADV at 190,000 contracts, CME Group said.
