NMP Acquisition (NMPAU) said Wednesday it has closed an initial public offering of 10 million units at $10.00 per unit.
Each unit consists of one class A share and one right, with each right allowing the holder to receive one-fifth of one class A share upon NMP Acquisition's signing of a merger deal, the company said.
The underwriter was granted a 45-day option to purchase up to 1.5 million units to cover over-allotments, NMP Acquisition said.
The blank check company said its units began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker symbol "NMPAU" on July 1.
Once its securities begin trading separately, the class A ordinary shares and rights are expected to list on Nasdaq under the symbols "NMP" and "NMPAR," respectively, NMP Acquisition said.
