Stocks to Watch: ClearOne, Essa, Wolfspeed, Quantum

ClearOne's board declared a one-time special stock dividend aimed at providing legacy stockholders with a 100% stake in the proceeds from any sale of assets or operations. Shares rose 13%, to $6.50, in after-hours trading Monday.

Essa Bancorp received the necessary bank regulatory approval to complete a merger with CNB Financial. The companies previously entered a merger agreement in January. Shares fell 8%, to $17.85, after hours.

Wolfspeed filed for a prepackaged chapter 11 bankruptcy to restructure its debt. Shares were up 92%, to 77 cents, Monday evening.

Quantum Corp. is delaying the release of its fiscal-year 2025 financial results, scheduled for Monday, because it is reviewing accounting related to some contracts. Shares fell 11%, to $8.84, after the market closed.
