WIA Gold (ASX:WIA) found gold mineralization during reverse circulation drilling at its Kokoseb gold project in Namibia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 50 meters at 12 grams per tonne(g/t) gold from 188 meters, including 1 meter at 528 g/t gold.
One of the drill holes extended the project's central zone high-grade shoot by a further 200 meters, the filing added.
All zones at Kokoseb remain open at depth, the company added.
The company added that all assay results will be included in the upcoming mineral resource estimate, which remains on track to be released in July.
WIA Gold's shares surged 13% in recent Thursday trade.
