Empro Group Shares Lower on Second Day of Trading

Empro Group shares finished down in Thursday's shortened session, the beauty and personal care brand's second trading day.

Shares declined at the close 10% at $3.91, but rose 2.3% to $4 in late trading.

The Malaysian company priced for a $5.5 million initial public offering on Wednesday. The company, which offered more than 1.37 million units at $4 apiece, listed shares on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker EMPG.

Empro granted the offering's underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 206,250 shares at the public offering price.
