Celsius Surprisingly Among Most Crowded Shorts in Consumer Staples -- Market Talk

Dow Jones

1323 ET - Celsius Holdings has become one of the most "crowded shorts" among consumer staple stocks, UBS says in a research note. The analysts define a crowded short as a stock that is shorted by a high percentage of eligible funds. They say they find this surprising because it doesn't align with conversations they're having with investors. "In fact, we think CELH  is one of the more well liked names in our coverage currently," the analysts say. Perhaps the stock will have trouble continuing to gain after a strong year-to-date performance, but recent improvement in core Celsius sales, continued strong performance by Alani Nu and easing comps for the rest of the year all make for an attractive setup, according to the analysts.
