Willdan Group Inc. has announced its selection for a $9.8 million contract to provide technical services for the California Public Utilities Commission's Integrated Resource Plan. This four-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional two years, will see Willdan's subsidiary, Energy + Environmental Economics (E3), leading efforts in energy modeling, technical analysis, and strategic advisory services. The initiative aims to support California's ambitious climate and clean energy goals. E3 has been providing technical support for the CPUC's Integrated Resource Plan since 2016, and this new contract will further their efforts in advancing the state's clean energy objectives.
