Lemonade (LMND) said Monday it successfully renewed its reinsurance program for a 12-month term.
The company said it reduced the ceded proportion of its quota share reinsurance from 55% to 20%, starting July 1, on the back of its robust diversification, underwriting, and loss ratio trajectory progress.
The program covers all company businesses worldwide, and the primary quota share carriers will remain intact, the company said.
Lemonade also plans to renew its ancillary reinsurance programs, the company said.
Shares of the company were up 4.3% in recent trading.
