Janus Henderson Group plc has announced the completion of a strategic partnership with The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. This collaboration will see Janus Henderson managing Guardian's $45 billion investment grade public fixed income asset portfolio, enhancing Janus Henderson's insurance presence and institutional reach. As part of the agreement, Guardian will receive equity warrants and other economic benefits while committing up to $400 million of seed capital for Janus Henderson's fixed income product innovation. Additionally, both companies will co-develop proprietary, multi-asset solution model portfolios for Guardian's Park Avenue Securities. This partnership aims to accelerate growth and create value for clients and policyholders, leveraging the complementary strengths of both organizations in the financial sector.
