Paramount Global and Mediacom have announced the renewal of their comprehensive distribution agreements, ensuring the continuation of Paramount's extensive portfolio of broadcast, entertainment, news, and sports brands across Mediacom markets. The multi-year agreements extend Mediacom's carriage of premier networks such as CBS, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Network. Additionally, the renewal allows Mediacom to offer the Paramount+ Premium plan to qualifying customers. Ray Hopkins, President of Paramount U.S. Distribution, expressed enthusiasm about the renewed partnership, highlighting the enhanced flexibility and access it provides to audiences. Italia Commisso Weinand, EVP of Programming & Human Resources at Mediacom, emphasized the agreement's role in offering customers more choices, supporting Mediacom's position as a comprehensive service provider for digital home needs. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
