A Boeing (BA) 737 Max 8 aircraft may be leased by Garuda Indonesia, which is in talks on the possible deal with BOC Aviation, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing a BOC Aviation spokesperson.
Garuda Indonesia has not used Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft since the fatal 2018 PT Lion Mentari Airlines crash undermined confidence in the plane's reliability, Bloomberg reported.
Boeing, Garuda, and BOC Aviation did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
