Kneat.com named Dave O'Reilly as its next chief financial officer, to succeed Hugh Kavanagh when he retires.

O'Reilly, who most recently served as financial chief of cloud business Ekco for seven years, will join Kneat July 7, the company said Monday. He will partner with Kavanagh for one month to ensure a smooth transition, and Kavanagh's final day with the company will be Aug. 8, Kneat said.

The appointment comes after Limerick, Ireland-based Kneat in May said co-founder and Chief Product Officer Kevin Fitzgerald would step out of his role in early June and wouldn't seek re-election to the board to take on the newly created role of chief innovation officer. Donal O'Sullivan was named to fill the role of chief product officer.
