Novo Nordisk (NVO) is under investigation by Spain's ministry of health over its website communications on its weight-loss drug. Shares of Novo Nordisk were more than 2% lower pre-bell.

Evotec (EVO) shares were up more than 3% after the company said it will join the NURTuRE-AKI consortium to establish a patient cohort for acute kidney injury.

Hims & Hers Health (HIMS) will continue offering low-cost weight-loss injections despite Novo Nordisk's decision to terminate their distribution partnership, Bloomberg reported, citing CEO Andrew Dudum. Shares of Hims & Hers Health were about 2% higher pre-bell.
