McCormick Sees a Path in Protein, Collagen -- Market Talk

0939 ET - McCormick says its flavor solutions business is taking a hit from a slowdown in sales volumes for the company's big food clients, which appears to have worsened in the past few months. The spice-and-seasonings giant said it's offsetting some of that softness with business from smaller companies working to add protein or remove sugar from their products, or dabbling in categories like collagen, sleep supplements and digestive health.
