Astute Metals (ASX:ASE) said that assay results for two holes from its diamond drilling campaign at the Red Mountain lithium project in Nevada returned the widest mineralized intercept to date, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm encountered significant intercepts of 95 meters at 1,340 parts-per-million of lithium from 54.9 meters, as well as 31.8 meters at 1,120ppm lithium from 74.7 meters.
Additional rock chip sampling identified an untested zone of lithium potential in the project's eastern portion.
