0753 ET - McCormick posts higher F2Q net sales, driven by volumes, making it a unicorn in the world of packaged food. Many big food companies are still struggling with lower sales volumes as consumers hunt for deals and limit their discretionary spending. McCormick, however, says it saw higher volumes in its consumer segment, which includes grocery sales of its spices and condiments. The company largely backed its prior 2025 financial guidance, after updating it to include the impact from tariffs on goods imported from China and other countries. McCormick is up 5% premarket.
