Trident Partners with Democratic Republic of Congo for National Digital Identification System

Trident Digital Tech (TDTH) said Wednesday that it agreed to a public-private partnership deal with the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo for the deployment of a national digital identification system.

The program will be rolled out in phases along with a public-education campaign, according to the company.

Under the agreement, Trident will be the exclusive provider of the new digital identity system and electronic know your customer services, based on Web 3.0 technology.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
