Emperor Culture Group Limited has announced a change in its auditing firm, with Ernst & Young (EY) resigning as the company's auditor. The board of directors has appointed Cheng & Cheng Limited as the new auditor, effective June 25, 2025. The decision follows a recommendation from the Audit Committee, which assessed Cheng & Cheng's competence, independence, market reputation, and familiarity with Hong Kong's auditing standards. The company believes the change will support effective cost control and future business development without impacting the annual audit and financial results for the year ending June 30, 2025. Emperor Culture Group expressed gratitude to EY for their past services.
