US Cash Grains-Corn basis bids steady to up

CHICAGO, June 25 (Reuters) - Corn basis bids were flat to higher at elevators and processing facilities around the U.S. Midwest on Wednesday as dealers tried to lure farmers to sell.

  • The corn basis rose at elevators in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Lincoln, Nebraska. It also rose at a processor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

  • Three processing facilities rolled their soybean basis to the November contract.

  • Rains mixed with warmer weather are expected to provide ideal growing conditions in the U.S. Midwest in the coming weeks, according to forecasters, which has caused corn and soybean futures to sag.
