CHICAGO, June 26 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for corn and soybeans were steady to higher at river terminals in a spot check of locations around the U.S. Midwest on Thursday.
The soybean basis gained strength at river terminals in Seneca, Illinois, Savanna, Illinois and Davenport Iowa.
More locations rolled their soybean basis to the November contract.
Hot, rainy weather is expected to provide greenhouse-like growing conditions for corn and soybeans in the U.S. Midwest in the coming weeks.
